Every kitchen eventually finds a new favorite, and this is ours. Our take on a Chesapeake- style seasoning. A fiery, ten-ingredient blend that earns its name honestly. Ancho chili and cayenne bring real heat up front, but it's the warm undertone of cardamom, allspice, and mace that makes this one impossible to place at first bite; it doesn't taste like a typical hot seasoning. Shake it over Steamed crab, roasted potatoes, seared shrimp, or a sheet pan of vegetables, and it becomes obvious why we tell people to reach for it before anything else.
